Berkeley, CA - June 21, 2011 - PINC Solutions today announced its YARD HOUND 3.0  real-time, advanced yard management system (YMS) has achieved certified integration with the SAP® Extended Warehouse Management (SAP EWM) application via enterprise services. For customers, the integration of the award-winning Yard Hound™ application with SAP EWM provides new and unprecedented supply chain visibility, allowing them to see actual and up-to-the-minute locations and status of shipments, inventory and trailer assets.

The SAP Integration and Certification Center (SAP ICC) has certified that YARD HOUND 3.0 integrates with SAP EWM via the yard and storage management processes (ESOA-Bundle 1.0) integration scenario.

YARD HOUND 3.0, integrated with SAP EWM, provides the following benefits to customers and solution integrators:

- Allows users to chart, view, analyze and model supply chain data retrieved directly from SAP EWM

- For customers who have implemented yard and dock capabilities, adding PINC’s YARD HOUND solution brings real-time arrivals, departures and appointments information to the SAP solution-based desktop, and allows customers to view real-time location and task information from their PINC desktops. PINC complements SAP EWM, giving customers added visibility over their operations.

- For solution integrators, this provides an opportunity to build new functionality into SAP EWM and deliver increased ROI for customers. Integrators can now work with PINC and build out integrations for their customers using PINC’s API and the new PINC code base in support of SAP solutions.

This effort is indicative of PINC’s commitment to deep integration with its customers’ operations, enterprise platforms and warehouse management systems, such as SAP EWM. To pass the stringent and exacting SAP process, PINC had to integrate its API to the SAP EWM specification (via enterprise services), build an integration including newly developed use cases, and then certify the integration on SAP EWM. This rigorous testing helps provide customers with the assurance that YARD HOUND 3.0 meets SAP certification requirements.
